Snow White's charms and dreamy affection for the Handsome Prince do save the day, which is exactly what Snow White wants reflected in her song "Someday My Prince Will Come". We took that winsome, rosy song and made "Someday" a cocktail based on Snow White. This cocktail has a smooth, almost buttery sweet and berry tart flavor as a base for the rose floral note that comes from the rose water, DeKuyper Sloe Gin and Lemon Oleo Saccharum in a base of Coconut Rum. Shake it with some aquafaba to give it a silky texture and a pretty pink foam to trace a Snow White bow out of Peychaud's bitters on top. A drink that is beautiful, delicious and sweet, just like Snow White when she's singing "Someday".
Someday
1.5 oz (45mL) Coconut Rum
.5 oz (15mL) Sloe Gin
.5 oz (15mL) Lemon Oleo Saccharum
1 oz (30mL) Rose Water
1 oz (30mL) Aquafaba
Peychaud's Bitters
In a shaker tin, combine 1.5 oz Coconut Rum, .5 oz Sloe Gin, .5 oz Lemon Oleo Saccharum, 1 oz Rose Water, and 1 oz Aquafaba. Add ice, a spring and more ice. Cover and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled rocks glass with a cube. Drip Peychaud's Bitters with a large bubble in the middle and four to the side. Pull the small drips towards the larger to look like a bow.
Aquafaba for Cocktails
An Egg White Substitute for cocktails
1- 15 oz can Garbanzo Beans/Chickpeas 1
barspoon Cream of Tartar
Strain out the chickpeas using a fine mesh strainer. Pour chickpea brine in a clean and dry condiment bottle, add 1 tsp cream of tartar and stir gently to combine. Seal and store in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. * A note on using aquafaba for cocktails: Gently swirl prepared aquafaba before use to redistrubute the settled cream of tartar; acid such as citrus juice will be necessary for frothing emulsion.
Lemon Oleo Saccharum
4 oz (113 g) Fresh, Clean Lemon
Peels 4 oz (113 g) Cane Sugar
Combine Peels and Cane Sugar in a heavy duty resealable bag or resealable container. Muddle or massage until the oils start to release. Malibu Coconut Rum
42 proof/21% ABV
Pernod Ricard

DeKuyper Sloe Gin
40 proof/20% ABV

Sloe Gin is made by macerating sloe berries/blackthorn drupes with a dry gin and sugar. After macerating for sometime, it is filtered and a sugar syrup and water are added to balance flavor and alcohol content. DeKuyper Sloe Gin has a plummy sweetness with a slight dust and is sweeter than other sloe gins. There are also light citrus and bright undertones.

Fairest of Them All: Two Spellbinding Cocktails Inspired by Disney’s Snow White
Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs tells the story of a jealous Evil Queen, a hunted princess, and a magical escape that leads Snow White to refuge with the Seven Dwarfs. When the Queen learns Snow White still lives, she crafts the infamous “Sleeping Death” potion, inspiring a dramatic apple-forward cocktail built with absinthe, kirsch, apple cider, and theatrical garnishes. The darker drink contrasts with a second cocktail, “Someday,” inspired by Snow White’s gentle romance and hopeful song “Someday My Prince Will Come.” That rosy, silky cocktail blends coconut rum, sloe gin, berry notes, and rose water, topped with a delicate pink foam. Together, the drinks celebrate the film’s enduring music, characters, and iconic imagery nearly a century after its release.
